Central Barrenground Caribou Hunting
Caribou Combo

We operate two caribou camps in the Manitoba tundra, within 10 miles of the Nunavut/Manitoba border.

Both camps are based on sizable lakes straddling the Manitoba and Nunavut border and sitting between two major migration routes as they funnel down from the Nunavut calving grounds. It offers a great mix of terrain and covr. From here, we have 16′ boats with 20 hp  outboards plus boat access to other lakes, offering even more area if needed.

This great hunt is designed to be a combo with Central Barrenground caribou, ptarmigan and great fishing. The Kaminuriak herd numbers over 290,000 animals and is considered the healthiest herd in Canada. Tags are limited to 250 per season and Hunting North exclusively hosts a maximum of 35 hunters per season. Hunters are allowed to choose between one or two caribou at the time of reservation.
